With a desire to help others seek and maintain optimal health, I  search everywhere to find reliable information about sustaining a "green" lifestyle and perhaps a chance at avoiding cancer or other deadly disease.

      So, you ask, if not bottled water or tap, WHAT'S LEFT?

       Is there any way to find safe, pure water to drink?

 

 Yes, there are a few things you can do to protect yourself.

The 1st option, and the best, in my opinion, is to purchase an

Atmospheric Water Generator or AWG.  It makes 99.99% pure, delicious water from humidity in the air (35%+).  Most AWGs  produce water with the proper pH of 6.5+.  Prices vary from

$900 to $1600.  If you can afford it, I'd say buy one.  It will pay for itself in about a year. You get pure, clean water and peace of mind.

 2 popular brands are "Ecoloblue" and "Dewpointe"; both machines  are comparable.

  Using an AWG to protect your water from terrorism  is another point to consider.  Keep in mind, AWG water is made inside the machine, has not traveled thru any pipes and has never touched the ground!!  I have owned one for 3 years and is one of the best investments I ever made.

The 2nd best option would be to filter your tap water with a 

quality Reverse Osmosis System that fits under the sink.

(ideal for spring and well water consumers)

 

A Reverse Osmosis system removes the entire spectrum of drinking water contaminates including the natural minerals.

Therefore, the natural minerals must be replaced to assure proper pH. We can do that with "liquid trace mineral drops" added to each gallon of water.  Water with a pH lower than 6.0 is considered  acidic and is not suitable for long term drinking.  Cancer cells      morph and thrive in an acidic environment, so you see why drinking water at the proper pH level (6.5+) is so important for sustaining good health.  A superior quality R/O system can be found for less than $600.

 UV light or UV filter. destroys all viruses, deactivates the DNA of bacteria and is compatible with all other filtering processes.  Add to under sink applications and is perfect for well and spring water consumers.

a Distiller.  A distiller will give you pure water, but uses lots of energy to do it.  Distilled water starts as tap water and has an average pH of 5.8, which, as I mentioned before, is considered acidic. It is also quite slow, taking over 5 hrs to make 1 gallon.

 

a Carbon filter.   *see below

 

a Brita filter. Brita filters are carbon based and will remove the bad taste and smell of chlorine and a teeny bit of lead, but does absolutely nothing for most contaminants, viruses or bacteria.

 

Refrigerator filters.  Most refrigerator filters are carbon based.
