Listed below are some important ways I've found that can help you avoid excessive pesticides and toxins. 
These changes can be made without a lot of sacrifice and will be easy on your budget. 
 
 
*These suggestions are my personal opinion and results of 40 + years studying Nutrition and the healthy body.
Foods MOST important to buy Organic:
 
  • Strawberries   
  • Peaches
  • Blueberries
  • Tomatoes
  • Lettuce
  • Celery
  • Potatoes
  • Milk
  • Eggs
  • Coffee
 
Add naturally raised meat and more Organic foods as your budget allows. Grass Fed Beef a good choice, even if not Organic. Oscar Meyer now make hot dogs and bacon without Nitrates. Safeway supermarkets offer a complete selection of Organic food and products at  reasonable prices.  Your local Farmer's Market often sell Organic produce.

You  ARE Ingesting Toxins if you: 
 
  • drink unfiltered tap water  (reserve osmosis needed)
  • drink bottled water  (unless it says "purified by Reverse Osmosis" on the label)
  • microwave in plastic containers  (switch to glass)
  • microwave items wrapped in Plastic Wrap  (use paper towel or wax paper)
  • use aluminum pans to cook in  (switch to stainless, enamel or cast iron)
  • cook food in aluminum foil
  • shower in unfiltered water  (add small filter to shower head)
  • bleach or color your hair
  • eat fast food more than once a week
  • eat fish more than once a month
  • eat non-organic food
